Bremser, Ray
The Dying of Children

Description:
Sudbury, Massachusetts: Water Row Press, 1999 Handsewn Into Wrappers. As New. First Edition. Signed by Compiler. The Dying of Children was written by Beat Jazz poet, Ray Bremser, while behind bars at the Bordentown Reformatory for armed robbery. A long poem written when Bremser was only twenty-two years old, The Dying of Children was published only once previously in the prison print shop and all copies but one were destroyed by the poet. Published here in a beautiful letterpress edition of only 200 numbered copies signed by Jeffrey Weinberg, who has supplied the foreword, and the printer, Elias Roustom. Hand-sewn wrappers.
