Los Angeles: Privately Produced By the Photographer 1982. First Edition. Carlton Way Suite contains twelve different original gallery quality black & white photographs taken by legendary Bukowski photographer Michae Montfort. Each photograph measures 16" x 20" and is signed by both Bukowski and Montfort. Also each photograph is lettered "B" (one with a small man with bottle drawing by Bukowski). The photographs are enclosed in the protective plastic bag as issued and housed within a black tied portfolio case with the original printed/inked label on green card stock. This is Copy "B" of 2 copies. (with only 5 total ever produced - This is the First Edition produced in 1982. Some years later, 3 other copies were made and these 3 with slighly different production points are considered the second edition). In the twelve different photographs, Bukowski is shown in different settings in Los Angeles and San Pedro including pumping gas in his VW bug, Driving with a cigarette, a few at home, one petting a cat, throwing clothes around in his room, at typewriter eating, carrying laundry, two at graveyard (one he is lying down, other in front of headstone "Beers"), etc. Cover label states that this is Copy "B" of a limited edition of 26 copies, but in fact only 2 were originally produced of this first edition due to the very high production costs.
