Los Angeles: Black Sparrow Press 1971. Hand-sewn Wrappers. First Edition. This is a very early Black Sparrow Press pre-Graham Mackintosh Christmas Greeting issued for friends of the press. The greetings in later years were changed to "New Year" greetings instead of Christmas. Hand-sewn wrappers - printed by Noel Young. Contains three poems by three different poets: "The Nest" by David Bromige - "Yesod & Malkuth, That Is, Advent & Christmas" from "Spheres" by Robert Kelly - and "The Magi" by Diane Wakoski. This copy is inscribed by David Bromige ( who added the name of Sherril Jaffe) "To Denise & Mitch / with love/David & Sherril." Bromige has also added an illustration of a roof of a house under the Black Sparrow logo. Very Fine
