Another exclusive: Richard Long--double spread full bleed b&w photo and accompanying textwork. Special section: Kelsie T. Harder's lost cartoon gem For Whom the Balloon Tows. Last seen in a very limited edition back in 1969. After many, many months, Tangerine Press finally tracked down Mr. Harder, who gave his permission to reprint this forgotten classic of the US small press. Some of you may be familiar with his work in the mighty double issue of Jon and Lou Webb's The Outsider 4/5. The Webb's were big fans of Mr. Harder's work and rightly so. Originally drawn when the artist was a world-weary 19 year old, For Whom... is by turns funny, sad, disturbing, desperate, human. General information: 209 pages. Large format, approx. 7"/175mm wide x 250mm/10" tall. Handbound at the Tangerine Press workshop, using acid-free papers and boards, conservation glue, hemp cord; distinctive Tangerine logo stamped onto the front cover in black ink; 3-colour title page. There are 74 numbered and 26 lettered copies available for sale. Body text set in Baskerville Old Face—three other classic fonts are used throughout the journal. ISBN 978-0-9553402-6-0 All 100 copies have been signed by the artist Kelsie T. Harder. 26 lettered/signed copies: Quarter bound in Japanese Moriki Kozo Forest Green (letters A-M) and Lime Green (letters N-Z) paper covered boards, with Colorado Loire Green cloth spine; 3-page 'stepped' 160gsm Canson Mi-Tientes front endpapers—the page colours being Poppy Red, Havana Brown and Deep Dark Blue; 160gsm Canson Mi-Tientes Poppy Red back endpapers; 100gsm Heritage Book White archival quality, Fourdrinier made, acid-free text paper. Images on facing page only. Richard Long’s full bleed b&w photo and textwork is also printed on 118gsm White Mohawk Superfine paper.
